instruments on the same day, and often at the same time! Other studios offer multiple instruments,
but we are the only one to offer music lessons in Scranton, PA for all 5 of the most popular instruments and all band & orchestra instruments all in one location. At Northeast School of Music we teach music lessons in Voice, Piano, Jazz Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Violin, Cello, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Sax, Clarinet, Flute Oboe & Bassoon.

We have 26 music teachers, all with either university training or professional performance experience. Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. With at least three music teachers for every instrument, we are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs.
In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely
friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your
music lesson. Students are able to choose instruction in pop, jazz, musical theatre &
classical music. We also offer competition and audition preparation.

2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Instead of waiting in a music retail store
showroom, our clients enjoy a spacious, professional waiting room with
comfortable chairs, kids toys, Wi-Fi, magazines and bottled water
service. We are also currently adding large observation windows on every door so that
you can watch your child's lesson while you wait. Or if you prefer you can sit in on their lesson anytime you like. Our parking lots
offer plenty of convenient, no-hassle, free, off-street parking.
6. Fully stocked music studios and lesson rooms.
Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for music lessons,
including amps, stereos, full drum kits with pads, keyboards, pianos
and more. All you need to bring is your instrument. We have spent thousands of dollars on our studio to offer soundproofing and
observation windows.
7. Free, all inclusive music recitals.
Every May and December, our
students have the option of performing in our recitals. Students are not
required to perform, but many choose to. Parents never have to pay admission or any related fees for these recitals. Students or parents are never required to fund raise for studio events.
8. Professional office staff six days a week to serve you.
Many music studio desks are staffed by the teacher/owner or more
commonly an answering
machine. We provide office staff who are
available at the front desk to assist our clients.

With 2 locations, NESM is convenient to all areas of Lackawanna County. NESM's Scranton location is
conveniently located on Keyser
Avenue, minutes from Clarks Summit, one mile from

This location primarily serves the Scranton area
including Clarks Summit, Dalton, Waverly,
Taylor, Old Forge, Moosic, Glen Maura, Moscow, Dunmore and all surrounding areas of NEPA. Our Eynon location is
conveniently located on Main
Street in Eynon, minutes from Carbondale, south of Tiffany's Restaurant, 2
doors down from the Eynon VFW. This location primarily serves the upper &
mid-valley areas including Carbondale, Forest City,
Simpson, Vandling, Jermyn,
Mayfield, Peckville, Dickson City,
Olyphant, Archbald and Blakely.
10. Month to Month lessons, No Long-Term Contracts.
NESM does not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis.
If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose. Since we
only want students who truly want to be here, we will never commit you
to a long term contract.
