Suits and more formal dresses are also welcome, just make sure that it is something that the student would be comfortable to perform in.

WHAT DO WE BRING?:

  1. Performers should bring any music/lyrics that they need for their performance.
  2. Your violin, guitar, ukulele, flute, etc. (piano provided)
  3. Guitarists & bassists only need to bring their instruments. Amps and cables will be provided for you.
  4. Drummers should bring their sticks.

CAN WE TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEOS?:  Yes and please tag us on social media. But please do not take flash pictures while the students are performing.

*ACCOMPANISTS FOR VOICE STUDENTS (if your teacher is not accompanying you)...

There are no participation fees, except for voice students who need an accompanist. If you know a pianist that could play for you, you may bring that person to accompany you.

Please let your teacher know if this is the case. If you are in need of an accompanist, we can provide a professional accompanist for a nominal fee of $30.00 per student; this includes one rehearsal and the recital.

Performers can also use mp3 accompaniment tracks. This track must be emailed to info@scrantonmusiclessons.com by November 9th.

The recital experience is a crucial part of any performers development. I congratulate you on participating and we all look forward to your performance!

Best Wishes,
