REMEMBER... You must be currently enrolled as a student during the month of June 2024 to participate in the recital.

The June Recitals are just around the corner! Our students are working really hard to get ready! We look forward to a positive and rewarding experience for each of our students.


Listed below is all of the important information for the performers and their parents.


Please read all of the information so that you will have a smooth recital day experience.

RECITAL DATES:

Saturday, June 22, 2024 and

Sunday, June 23, 2024


HOW TO SIGN UP! Once you read all of the information on this page, scroll down and click the link at the bottom of the page. Choose the recital day and time which works best for you. Twenty (20) students will be placed in each recital. Once the slots are filled, registration for that recital will be closed. If you want your teacher to be at your recital, please choose a recital that your teacher will be attending. So don’t put it off. Sign up ASAP. If you have any problems signing up online, stop by or call the office at 570-343-9051. 


Sign-ups OPEN on MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2024 at 9:00 A.M. & CLOSE on TUESDAY APRIL 30, 2024 at 9:00 P.M. 


WHAT TO WEAR? DRESS TO IMPRESS! WEAR YOUR BEST!

Ladies: Blue jeans or other denim are unacceptable.

Blouses should not be too revealing - any visible midriff or lower back is unacceptable.

Tennis shoes or athletic shoes are unacceptable. No hats, flip-flops, high slits, or shorts. No gum chewing.

 

Gents: Blue jeans are unacceptable. No tennis shoes, athletic shoes, or boots. Vans and similar shoes are unacceptable. No hats, flip-flops, or shorts. No gum chewing.


WHAT TIME? Students should arrive 30 minutes prior to their recital time to meet with their teachers and warm up. All students will remain off stage until they are introduced to perform their piece. Each recital will last 1 hour or less as a convenience to parents. Please do not leave during the 1-hour set. As a courtesy to all of the performers. Please watch the entire program as we want every student to have the same amount of respect from the audience.

St. Stanislaus Auditorium

There is plenty of parking in their surrounding parking lots.

ADMISSION & FEES:

Admission to the recitals is FREE. Participation in the recitals is FREE!* 

You can invite as many friends and family members as you like! 


*ACCOMPANISTS FOR VOICE STUDENTS (if your teacher is not accompanying you)...

There are no participation fees, except for voice students who need an accompanist. If you know a pianist that could play for you, you may bring that person to accompany you.


Please let your teacher know if this is the case. If you are in need of an accompanist, we can provide a professional accompanist for a nominal fee of $30.00 per student; this includes one rehearsal and the recital.

Vocalists can also use CD or .mp3 accompaniment tracks.


WHAT DO WE BRING?

Performers should bring any music/lyrics that they need for their performance. 

Guitarists & Bassists only need to bring their instruments. Amps and cables will be provided for you.

Drummers should bring their sticks. 


The recital experience is a crucial part of any performers development. I congratulate you on participating and we all look forward to your performance!
